It’s taken a while to get stuck into Okonomiyaki, and then the first one is a but different to what I’m used to. I’m more familiar with the one that’s like a doughy, thick pancake with vegetables in it – mostly bean shoots. Hiroshima style involves two pancakes with noodles and very finely sliced cabbage sandwiched between them. I had one with shrimp. As with some of these foods, while they are delicious, they do turn into a bit of a sauce delivery system. The thing I love the most about Okonomiyaki in Australia is the brown sauce and mayonnaise – you know the mayo -the one that is about 60 grams of fat per 100 grams…
it seems the mayo isn’t served with Hiroshima style… Disappointing, but still delicious. The preparation process is documented below…
Loving this Masi… Not too sure how robust the spokes on the rear would be, but they look good – something different…
Not too sure how these panoramas are appearing, as I haven’t seen any of these photos on the big screen yet. All of these photos so far have been taken on my phone, and the panoramas are done using the panorama setting, which allows you to press the shutter button and then just rotate the camera and the phone stitches them together. Will probably have too wait until I get home to check the quality…
